INTERNATIONAL BASKETBALL LEAGUE, INC. (LIBA)
SELECTION TEAM RULES
- The LIBA Selection Team’s purpose is the showcase each Team member’s skills to potential recruiters.
- The LIBA President is the Coach for the Selection Team and decides which players plays at a particular game.
- Each Team member must be member in good standing of a Team playing in the LIBA Tournament.
- Players must be available to play with their LIBA sponsoring Team on Sunday afternoons and with the LIBA selection Team on Intra-League games on Saturday Nights.
- Players, Coaches and Referees are expected to maintain a professional attitude at all times and treat each other with respect. Any disagreement should be handled in a professional manner. Referees have the last word on the court. The Coach has the last word on Team plays and discipline. Any player disrespecting a Referee or Coach can be removed from the Team at the Coach’s discretion.
- A player’s place on the Selection Team is not guaranteed, nor should it be considered permanent. If there is a better player at the Sunday Tournament, a player can be replaced until his game improves.
- Players are expected to follow the Coach’s instructions at games and practice or players will be sent to the bench until they do.
